What is civility?

Civility is embracing differences and respecting people from all different types of backgrounds.

Civility is not judging anyone around you, and being respectful to anyone you meet or see.

Civility means respecting everyone's beliefs and values. Don't judge others because they are different than you.

Civility is respecting others and acting in a manner that is kind towards everyone.

To me civility is being kind or courteous to other in daily life, instead of putting yourself and your beliefs above everyone elses

Civility means accepting others for who they are on the inside, not judging them for who they are on the outisde

Civility is respecting one's backgrounds and cultures and remembering and respecting that everyone is different

civility is not necessarily agreeing with others beliefs or opinions, but respecting their differences and treating them equal.

Civility means treating everyone equally, regardless of skin color, sexual orientation, etc.

Civility is embracing cultures, religions, beliefs, and philosophies other than our own.

Civility is accepting everyone as they are and being open minded and supporting others

Civility is respect towards others no matter how they differ from you.

Civility is treating everyone with the same respect and care regardless of who they are, what they do, where they're from, etc.

To me, civility means respect. If you don't agree with someone, but you try to see their side and listen to their ideas, that is civility. Treating others the way you want to be treated--they don't call it the Golden Rule for nothing.

Civility is accepting others for who they are. It is the realization that the diversity of this world is what makes it beautiful.

Civility is treating everyone with kindness and respect. Being unprejudiced and not being judgmental toward people based on race, religion, or anything is vital when being a member of a productive and supportive environment.
